The agony of a lost love...how can anyone listen to this and not be deeply moved?

A bitter ballad about a big fight and break up with Suzee Rotolo (his girlfriend who appeared on the cover of "The Freewheeling Bob Dylan")

It's probably my favorite album, that's why I posted it, and I guess my Youtube Albums project kinda died cause it would have been alot of work, it's nice to see people are enjoying the one album. Maybe I'll put up JWH or BOTT next.

...with strings of guilt they try hard to guide us... who can guide us, but ourselves? it's all biased. each sentence in this song is a poem in itself.

An embarassing song for Bob in his later years. But this is one of his greatest songs. I listen to the words and am sucked into the reality of that experience. Parasite sisters and the like are the words of a wounded lover and once through it the knowledge that there will be no dream lover of one's lifetime.
