in the Animatrix, The APU's were well armored. since Zion didnt have much armour, they made These APU. I love the Animatrix 1 though. They have jet packs on em and they were better. the sentinels would be killled if they had the old 1's until those huge spider droids killed the shit out of em.

To all those people commenting on the errors in the APU, keep in mind there are only, I forget, 70 of them in the Dock. And how many destroyed Sentinels in there by the end of the movie, probably over a thousand. Fellas, that's not bad for a platoon's worth of APUs.

APUs are retarded. The Zionists are supposedly too poor to put a cockpit cover on these things, but they could afford a complex walking leg system? Their kills against the Sentinels aren't impressive, since most of the robots did nothing but circle around uselessly while being shot at.
