ztrain727 ::: Favorites 2007-04-20 11:21:54 I know....it is so rediculous how much trouble I had with fuses. Anyway, I use all electronic ignition now with 40 awg nichrome in a small amount of pure AP. All my newest videos (which I haven't yet uploaded) use electronic ignition, and I'll never go back! __________________________________________________
anfoguy ::: Favorites 2007-04-21 18:01:30 how is just 35 grams of anfo detonated? I thought that there was a critical diameter for anfo. Annm and apan has small diameters but not anfo. Do you think that just your apan detonated here? __________________________________________________
ztrain727 ::: Favorites 2007-04-22 13:22:49 Yes. As I stated in an earlier post, I assume that the ANFO did not detonate since the minimum detonation size is about 100g, or 300-500g for reliable detonation, with a critical diameter of about 6 inches. This, in a way, makes the video more impressive, since there are probably about 15g of total explosives. __________________________________________________
anfoguy ::: Favorites 2007-04-25 18:49:54 if you powder your anfo the critical diameter is 1.5 inches __________________________________________________
ztrain727 ::: Favorites 2007-04-26 12:01:28 Yeah. This is powdered, but still not CD. I think I might have better luck with small amounts of ANWAX or something. __________________________________________________
mauz12345 ::: Favorites 2007-05-08 12:02:34 HMTD is a different story, it may react with metals but that depends on the residual acidity it has. be sure to neutralize the acidity of HMTD with a NaHCO3 solution, before drying. that way it is quite safe too __________________________________________________
GreenDayRlz ::: Favorites 2007-05-09 16:24:32 Can you tell me how you got all of the things you need, where to obtain them(I`m only 13, it`s kinda hard 2 get explosives.)And how to make, Is the fuse the charge?I`m soooo confused, so little info on this. __________________________________________________
SyNth0 ::: Favorites 2007-05-11 13:30:01 You'd better just stay in fireworks if you don't want to loose any fingers. AP isn't the safest thing to come.. __________________________________________________
lasdhkfdslhdlshaf ::: Favorites 2007-05-17 15:53:52 read-up on chemistry take a chem class when u get older....or you could just take alot of fireworks cut them open and confine the BP in a steel pipe and set it off with a shoelace fuse...that simple __________________________________________________
Rlyehn ::: Favorites 2007-05-17 19:45:31 don't mess with explosives if your that freaking stupid!!!Greendayrlz __________________________________________________
Jacob69069 ::: Favorites 2007-05-23 21:15:14 exactly __________________________________________________
AirsoftLife ::: Favorites 2007-05-27 23:24:35 No, the fuse is not the charge. The ANAP is the primary charge, and the ANFO is the secondary charge. The fuse is.... fuse __________________________________________________
DOTTY191 ::: Favorites 2007-06-20 04:03:14 in Aus the only chemicals i can obtain are calcium nitrate and ammonia sulfate i know they make ammonia nitrate but what ratios do i use to make it? and i heard ammonia nitrate is not very senstive, is that true __________________________________________________
cyanide444 ::: Favorites 2007-06-21 18:51:08 what the heck is APAN? What chemicals are in it? I know ANFO is Ammmonium nitrate and Fuel Oil but what's apan? __________________________________________________
ggggggggggggggggfhfh ::: Favorites 2007-06-24 05:00:09 ammonium nitrate acetone peroxide often used in boosters in homemade explosives. he shows u on the video anyway __________________________________________________ |
