NiteBlogger ::: Favorites We are the lucky ones - the ones who managed to survive & not snap. And by your message, it sounds as though you have grown into a mature, compassionate adult. Thank you for commenting. It means a lot to me. peace 07-07-01 03:33:35 __________________________________________________
Largo64 ::: Favorites Thank you for this touching video. I know the feelings you expressed. I was bullied in school, too. I was the shortest kid in my class all the way through high school, and to make things worse, I was a fat kid. Until I ws in college I had to put up with biullies, and I understand the frustration and rage that can come from that. Fortunately I didn't snap. But I can empathize with those who did.Bullying is not just "kids being kids." It is criminal behavior. And it can lead to much worse. 07-07-01 01:58:26 __________________________________________________
fehquig ::: Favorites I, too, was bullied at school. My accent, my clothes, my mannerisms, all were easy targets. Children can be cruel without realizing it. Still, we all grew up. The bullies were just insecure kids who needed to feel better about themselves, and making someone else feel worse was their validation. In a more caring society, this would not happen. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one... 07-04-25 14:26:11 __________________________________________________
CountrybyAudrey ::: Favorites Seems like everyone that connects with me, has similar stories! My parents remained married, but there was alcoholism, physical abuse, for all of us 6 kids. Tormented in school?, Hell Yah!, all of us kids were, we didn't have store bought clothes or shoes, or braces on our teeth, let alone live in an expensive house! I'm with ya girl, enough of the bullying in schools! 07-04-24 21:18:04 __________________________________________________
curt344 ::: Favorites Wow. That came right from the gut, didn't it? Right on!! 07-04-22 01:35:02 __________________________________________________
dontmakemesing ::: Favorites An incredible story and I am so glad you're still here to be able to tell it. Bullying is tolerated in homes, schools and places of employment. We have to say NO with conviction! And help anyone who truly wants and needs it... Peace and Love to you, Sandy xo 07-04-20 22:24:48 __________________________________________________

30andout ::: Favorites "But still, like air, I'll rise." I can understand how her poem has inspired you. 07-04-20 09:04:54 __________________________________________________
daligoddess2006 ::: Favorites Sad but also inspiring. Dollie & Mollie? Were you from Harlen County Kentucky? I knew a family from Harlen, whose daughters were named, Ollie, Dollie, Mollie and Bessie May. No wait...they are much older than you, so I doubt if they were the girls you spoke of. 07-04-20 08:55:21 __________________________________________________
