Description: Normal speed, 1/4 speed, and 1/16 speed. I think round ejection and feeding is one of the most elegant aspects of semiauto guns. NOTE: Cycling live ammo in homes is dangerous. For safety, one should expect the worst and plan for a round to be fired by human or mechanical malfunction. This was taped in a basement, with the gun pointed at an empty room, behind which was concrete then earth. Making videos like this is not for the inconsiderate or easily distracted, so please don't imitate if not properly equipped mentally and logistically. |

SaltyPig ::: Favorites please cite your source(s). this sort of "safety" talk, apparently built on vague assumption, wastes mountains of time and sometimes causes more damage than it saves. 07-07-01 16:28:18 __________________________________________________
batters2007 ::: Favorites skyline is sort of right. when a round is repeatedly chambered it does push the bullet back into the casing, but it is only noticable after 5 or 6 cycles. the part about it making the gun blow up is horseshit though. 07-07-01 15:06:53 __________________________________________________
SaltyPig ::: Favorites i think that's nonsense, but i'd read up on it more if you had sources with demonstrated reloading expertise. regardless, we're talking about the difference between going into the barrel twice instead of once. ludicrous to worry about. ammo's far more durable than that, and the pressure in the direction you're talking about negligible. it is easily tested though, so do that and publish the result. measure, then measure again after cycling 2, 6, 10, 50, 100, 1000. good plan? 07-06-10 09:44:35 __________________________________________________
theskylinegtr ::: Favorites when u pull back the slide like that the bullet his the guide which puts the round into the barrel when it does that it slightly pushes the bullet further back into the shell and then when u go to fire it the pressure is to much and ur gun can blow up so b careful about that u can test it. get a bullet that u havent put into the gun yet then get one n keep doing that with it lol 07-06-09 23:56:40 __________________________________________________
