One of the demonstrators was Diane Wittner, Director of the Cheapeake Citizens organization. She said: "The crooks in the White House need to be held accountable." The vigil was sponsored by the MoveOn Political Action group. The focus of the demonstration, attended by over 100 protesters, was to "push Congress to end the war this September."
