Description:

A new era has dawned in North London. The master may have gone, but whilst many have already written Arsenal off, are they deluding themselves? What have the Gunners got in their armory?

We'll see. I've been rather impressed by him in pre-season; he's a grafter with good technique, movement, and he can head the ball. He definitely improves the squad.

the question is... does he fill Henry's boots?

Obviously not. Henry is arguably Arsenal's greatest ever player. They are very different players, and Eduardo looks like more of a team player. His runs should fit in well with Cesc, Rosicky and Hleb's creativity. If anyone is directly taking Henry's place, it's van Persie.

do oranges replace apples? Henry was the last of an era that has passed. It is now a new era at Arsenal. Henry's leaving, breaks the ties with the Vieira/Henry/Pires team, but as Wright's departure broke the ties with the Graham era. Now the kids will forge their own identity.

no lol, but using ur example... oranges mite be better or maybe the opposite. so u will never have a Apple like Henry, instead u will have an orange in Da Silva.

ok - to use a different analogy - Henry was like a Ferrari Engine. A Ferrari from 2002. All the other parts of that car had been sold and we now have a 2007 Lamborghini. Even the best Ferrari engine will not work in the wrong sort of car. Perhaps De Silva is a Lamborghini engine.

decent vid. i liked the fact you interweaved the commentary but the music drowned it out in spots. also a bit of a pity you only put one eduardo goal in there, especially as he's scored 50+ in his last season.
